Nedooru: An investiture ceremony for the Interact Club was held under the joint auspices of Sri Vani High School, Nedooru, and Rotary Club Barkur.
The programme was presided over by Rtn. Ajith Kumar Shetty. Rtn. Gangadhar Joshi presented the collar badge to the newly installed office-bearers. Present on the dais were Zone Representative Rtn. Seetharama S, Youth Service Director Rtn. Charan Shetty, Club Interact Chairman Rtn. Kushal Poojary, Headmaster Ashok Kumar Shetty, Interact Teacher Coordinator Smt. Preethi Shetty, Rotary Secretary B. Ganesh Acharya, newly elected Interact Club President Pallavi, and Secretary Shreeja.
Headmaster Ashok Kumar Shetty delivered the welcome address. The President and other distinguished guests formally inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Following this, Rtn. Kushal Poojary delivered the introductory address, speaking about Rotary and Interact and their shared mission. President Rtn. Ajith Kumar Shetty then formally invested Interact Club President Pallavi and Secretary Shreeja with their badges of office.
Chief guest Rtn. Seetharama S, the Zone Representative, offered guidance and suggestions on the functioning of the Interact Club. Rtn. Charan Shetty shared his thoughts on the occasion. Headmaster Ashok Kumar Shetty also spoke, expressing his appreciation for the Interact Club's activities.
Rtn. B. Ratnakar Shetty conducted a quiz programme for the students. The event concluded with a presidential address by Ro. Ajith Kumar Shetty, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Suguna Shetty.
Sweets for the occasion were sponsored by Rtn. Arun Kumar. Also present were Rtn. Raju Poojary, Rtn. Bhaskar Poojary, Rtn. Harish Kundar, Rtn. Gangadhar Joshi, Rtn. Ashok Kumar, Rtn. B. Ratnakar Shetty, Rtn. Kusuma Shetty, Rtn. Lalitha R. Shetty, Ann Kiran Shetty, and Ann Sharada Joshi.
A total of 170 students attended the programme.
