In a commendable achievement, Dhanvita Poojary from Barkur Nagaramatha has won third place in the state-level wrestling competition organized by the Karnataka Government's Department of School Education (Pre-University), Bangalore.
The 2025-26 State-Level Boys and Girls Wrestling Championship was conducted with the collaboration of the Deputy Director of School Education Department (Pre-University), Vijayapura, and HG Pre-University College, Sindagi.
Dhanvita Poojary is the daughter of Sri Ganesh Poojary and Smt. Shilpa Ganesh Poojary, owners of Sri Vidya Ganapati Agro Industries (Parishuddha Barkur Jaggery) in Barkur Nagaramatha. She is currently pursuing her second-year Pre-University Course (II PUC) at SMS Pre-University College, Brahmavara.
