Kuwait: Following the tremendous success of their earlier musical productions, Kuwait-based music duo Jason Misquith and Morvine Quadras are set to release their latest original Konkani Marian hymn, "Kontamoni," by the end of July under the banner of JM Ragaas Muzik Creations.

JM Ragaas Muzik Creations is a music production house founded by the Kuwait-based musical duo Jason Misquith from Niddodi, Mangalore, and Morvine Quadras from Barkur, Udupi. Established with a vision to promote quality music, the team is committed to producing original songs in Konkani, Tulu, and Hindi, while exploring different musical styles and creative concepts through high-quality audio and video productions.
Meet the Musical Duo
Jason Misquith, an Accounts Manager by profession, is a passionate musician who has directed and performed in numerous Konkani musical events in Kuwait over the years. Morvine Quadras, a Sales Manager by profession and GVOM Winner, is a well-known Konkani singer who has featured in several albums and performed live across the Gulf, Canada, and England, earning appreciation for his devotional and stage performances.
A Journey of Musical Excellence
Their debut production, "Eklonch Bosun," penned by renowned poet Wilson Kateel, featured music and tune composed by Jason Misquith and vocals by Morvine Quadras. The song created history as the first original Konkani musical video to be filmed in Bulgaria, with additional scenes shot in Kuwait.
Their next devotional hymn, "Tum Mohimecho Dev," written by Fr. Jocy Siddakatte and beautifully rendered by Jason Lobo and Sonal Monteiro, received tremendous appreciation from Konkani audiences worldwide, inspiring the duo to continue producing meaningful devotional music.
Inspired by Mother Mary and the Rosary
Their latest project, "Kontamoni," is a heartfelt Marian hymn centred on Mother Mary and the Holy Rosary. The lyrics, written by Reyan Lobo, formerly based in Kuwait and now settled in the United Kingdom, deeply touched Jason and Morvine. As devoted followers of Mother Mary, they decided to transform the beautiful lyrics into a powerful musical offering of faith and hope.
Bringing Together Musical Excellence
The hymn's tune has been composed by Jason Misquith, with music arranged by Rajgopal. Morvine Quadras lends his voice as the lead vocalist, harmonization is by Denzil Pereira, and the chorus is beautifully rendered by the Blue Angel Choir, Mangalore.
A Talented Team Behind the Vision
The music video has been filmed by Dheeron and Allen Cardoza, while the Direction of Photography (DOP) and editing have been jointly handled by Morvine Quadras and Allen Cardoza. The production also features live flute by Santhosh, tabla by Goutham, and music programming, mixing, and mastering by Sumukh.

The music video features Kuwait-based Konkani artists Santosh Barboza and Oswald & Lavina Furtado, whose heartfelt performances beautifully portray the hymn's message. The overall concept and creative direction are by Morvine Quadras, while the elegant promotional poster has been designed by Clanwin Fernandes.
