Confidence, perseverance, and timely action have brought well-deserved recognition to a brilliant student of our institution.
Ms. Gayathri Shettigar was confident of her performance in the Karnataka State Board Examination held in April 2026. However, when the results were announced, she felt a sense of disappointment. Her Headmistress, Ms. Hemavathy P.S., along with the dedicated teaching staff, firmly believed that her efforts deserved better recognition.
With this conviction, Correspondent Mr. Rajgopal Nambiar was approached. Demonstrating promptness and commitment to justice, he immediately advised applying for revaluation.
The outcome was truly remarkable—Ms. Gayathri Shettigar not only secured higher marks but achieved the prestigious 10th Rank in the Karnataka State SSLC Examination.
This is indeed a moment of immense pride and joy for her parents, Mr Jaya and Ms Padmini Shettigar, Ranganakeri, the Headmistress and staff, and the entire Barkur Educational Society. After a considerable gap, National High School, Barkur has not only achieved a 100% pass result for Sixth consecutive academic year but also demonstrated exceptional academic excellence with a state rank.
We, the President Mr B Shantarama Shetty, Office bearers and Members of the Barkur Educational Society, extend our heartfelt congratulations to our proud achiever Ms. Gayathri Shettigar, her supportive parents, and the committed teachers who guided her to this milestone accomplishment.

It's apt to note here that Mr Srinivas Shettigar the proud proprietor of Shettigar Industries, and the Correspondent of National Higher Primary School Hanehalli is Gayathri's uncle, (brother of Mr Jaya Shettigar,) expressed his happiness on this special occasion and extended his and families congratulations to their proud niece.
