Creating
history is a tradition in the historically rich place, Barkur. In
living up to these traditions, history has been re-written by
starting a Govt. First Grade College with BA, B.Com courses of

223 students are girls and 104 are boys. For many girls of nearby
villages this College is and has been a brilliant ray of hope for
their education. Without this College many dreams would have been
left untouched or unfulfilled. Next year we are planning to start
courses like B.Sc., BBM, and Information Technology.
