We are very happy to present a wonderful compilation painstakingly done by P. Archibald Furtado which tabulates everything you ever wanted to know about Barkur. ‘Barkur-on-line Team’ always tries to show-case the best Barkurian ethos and cultural diversity, and every effort is made so is our wish to capture the entire spectrum of Barkur’s vibrant colors. One such effort in line is the this chronology of great events involving our Barkur, over the centuries, which is prepared based on the records and books published from time to time.

He is a familiar face in the Kallianpur Varado, so also to us many of the Barkurians, since he was associated with Milagres Church and Milagrian Educational Institutions nearly two long decades. Barkur cordially welcomes the new Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca....
