Friends,

It reminds me good olden days of 60’s. This priest Fr. Picardo, just looked like European, tall built, solid voice, ever smiling. We had attended good many masses during Fr. Rosario’s / Fr. Nazareth’s time. Yet another Barkur priest is Fr. Sequeira, one can find him in the picture you pasted, also Bangalore has his base. His also smart personality and the third is Fr. D’Souza of Kudru. Fr. Alfred Roche of course we all loved, one article is there.

Dear Archie, you have done a marvellous job yet again. Almighty will bless you, Kishoo Barkur and all associated with this noble work. I and like me hundreds will be happy if you can bring out such faces to light. There are many fruits and flowers hidden under leaves, hence before only fragrance was felt, today you made subjects visible to the world to see…..Barkur-on-line pages let long live in the service of people. Last, my humble request -  please write this article in Parish magazine without fail…let the current generation be aware of its past….Good luck once again & God bless you.

While going through the BULLS in Barkur pages, it force me to send in these lines. Its a well-written article - sarcastic to begin but narrative to explain the ill effects of Temple bulls.....There are bull-bye-products who rose to fame. We know good-number of them. One family in my town like this -  devadasis  family - now lot many learned men / women - intelligent cross breed,  that woman during younger days though suffered humiliation, bold enough to withstand, now one of the highly respected household in the locality.

Govt. seat Reservations in colleges helped them a lot. The Bull man was a Brahmin teacher, intelligent and brilliant. Out of his 7 bye-products all are well settled. Old lady still alive. Bull man was killed / died in a road accident, at young age giving 7 children at about 45 years, to this lady and the lady had hell of the time, since then to bring them to a level.

Now the second generations also prospering materially / educational field. Anyway that slogan - 'Mother is a fact, Father just a faith' Almighty only knows who is who? Earlier days haves had their right over have not?

As you said days now changed a lot. Moreover science taught to prevent unwanted pregnancy!? Bulls are scot-free! Ill-effects of BULLS are there, but it also helped some, who didn’t had their own or not capable of or non-productive. We also know few Bulls own cows grazing outside. You receive what you give. Few admit, but many facts remain as secrets! The world is mysterious!!!!
