In loving memory of late Mrs. Stella D’Souza

Dear Mom,

Here is a message and a tribute to you when we commemorate your death anniversary on Sept 4th 2002. It is 7 years since you left us with out any warning or notice. The day still we remember that is Sept. 4th 1995. Though dear Mom, it is 7 years has passed now since that sad demise it has not taken any bitterness or sadness out of our minds. People say that time will only will heal our wounds. In our case it is hardly true Mom.

We can no get you out of heads, dear mother.  Your death has left us still in a mystery and till today no one can fill that void left by you. It did not help having doctor son in the family either for your cause. Such was your illness and suddenness of demise. You kept us in the dark with all your sufferings and till death you sacrificed everything for your kids and devoted whole life to your family and society. Your death has maimed us in both body and mind till today. You worked hard and relentlessly until death and suffered silently until death without a complaint. The courage you have shown in adverse weather is exemplary and the strength you had in your lifetime and during your suffering is unassailable. Today the edifice of the house you built has collapsed and the light of that house where you lived 70 years has been extinguished. It has left your house in to a desolate and dilapidated state.

Lord Jesus, we plead you today to remember your servant Mrs Stella D’souza who has left this world 7 years back and who is there in your heavenly abode. May she intercede for all of us who still live on this earth. We the children and your beloved bereaved husband believe that we have a powerful soul to intercede for all of us and we have nothing to fear. May your soul rest in peace dear Mom. The mood in your family is still melancholic and sombre. None of that bitterness is fizzled out of our memories even after 7 years. May that God give us the enough courage and fortitude to bear this trauma. This is our fervent prayer.

We are positive that you have been taken into the eternal light, which was promised by God to Abraham and his descendants. We all pray that we all will unite one day in heaven and will be the partners of that everlasting love, which you promised. Dear Mom, the life you lead in this world is worthy of praise and emulation. May your soul rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon you.

A loving tribute from,
