HOW TO POISON YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW. A long time ago, a girl named Li-Li got married
and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law. In a
very short time,Li-Li found that she couldn't get along with
her mother-in-law at all.Their personalities were very
different, and Li-Li was angered by many of her
Mother-in-laws habits. In addition, she criticized Li-Li
constantly. Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks. Li-Li
and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing and fighting.
But what made the situation even worse was that according to
ancient chinese tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her
mother-in-law and obey her every wish. All the anger and unhappiness in the house was
causing the poor husband great distress. Finally, Li-Li
could not stand her mother-in-law's bad temper and
dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something
about it.Li-Li went to see her father's good friend, Mr.
Huang, who sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked
if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the
problem once and for all. Mr. Huang went into the room, and
returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs. He told Li-Li,"you can't use a quick-acting
poison to get rid of your mother-in-law,Because that
could cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have
given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison
in her body. Every other day prepare some delicious meal and
put a little of these herbs in her serving. Now, in order to
make sure that nobody suspects you when she dies, you must
be very careful to act very friendly towards her. Don't
argue with her, obey her every wish, and treat her like a
queen." Li-Li was so happy .she thanked Mr. Huang and
hurried home to start her plot of murdering her
mother-in-law. weeks went by, and months went by, and every
other day, Li-Li served the specially treated food to her
mother-in-law. she remembered what Mr. Huang had said about
avoiding suspicion, so she controlled her temper,
obeyed her in-laws, and treated her like her own mother.
After six months had passed, the whole household had
changed. Li-Li had practiced controlling her temper so much
that she found that she almost never got mad or upset.she
hadn't had an argument in six months with her mother-in-law,
who now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with. The mother-in-law's attitude toward Li-Li
changed, and she began to love Li-Li like her own daughter.
she kept telling friends and relatives that Li-Li was the
best daughter-in-law one could ever find. Li-Li and her
mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real
mother and daughter. Li-Li's husband was very happy to see
what was happening. One day, Li-Li came to see Mr.Huang and asked
for his help again. she said, Mr. Huang, please help me to
keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law. she changed
into a such a nice women, and I love her like my own mother.
I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave
her."Mr Huang smiled and nobbed his head. " Li-Li,
there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison.
The herbs I gave you were Vitamins to improve her health.
The only poison was in your mind and your attitude toward
her, but that was been all washed away by the love which you
gave to her." MORAL : Friends, have you ever realized that how
you treat others is exactly how they will treat you? In
chaina it is said 'THE PERSON WHO LOVES OTHERS WILL ALSO BE
LOVED." Why not we follow-up this Moral. Edwin picardo2002us@yahoo.com
It was four years ago, when I was working in Dubai, one day I was traveling by taxi from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. It was evening and I was the only passenger returning to Dubai. On the way, the middle aged Pakistani driver started conversation regarding his work and his country. He started narrating his background. He was telling me how he worked for a few years in Pakistani Army and how he landed in Bangalore as an ISI agent. To my surprise and my curiosity I asked for more information, but he was not ready to disclose anything more. But later he started talking. Some how the story he explained was shocking!. All are aware of the Pakistani government’s involvement in supporting ISI agents to de-stabilise the Indian Government and encouraging terrorist activities. He said he came through Rajastan, crossed the Indian border and traveled as a rural unemployed person. Finally he reached his destination and stayed on the out skirts of Bangalore. He chose to work with a family consisting of mother and her only daughter living together. As he said to them he was unemployed, and came from Rajastan because of drought, and accepted to look after their cows. He stayed at their farmhouse and secretly started sourcing general information and noted down in his secret dairy. Once in a week he was using the public phones where no one could doubt him and passing all the relevant information to his Government by his secret codes! His mission was to get the maximum information from locality and send it to his seniors regularly. Similarly, He was telling me how the Indian spies were active in Pakistani soil and how some of them were caught and serving sentences behind the bars. For my doubt I asked the place where he stayed two years in Bangalore. He recalled the name of the place and the woman, her daughter's name very well. It was a Hindu family, and he appreciated their generosity and he said he is missing them. After that he moved to Hyderabad stayed for a few months, with his three-year mission completed he returned to Pakistan the way he came from. Later he retired and came to U.A.E. running his own taxi! Can you believe how many ISI agents are still living secretly in India? Are our authorities smart enough to find them out in our population of almost a billion ? Get it now. All the best. Conditions to contest are all
polluted ones. Read
quickly and answer with a smile. I remember the good old days as I was walking in the field with wet legs and muddy foot. I remember the days: I saw a few persons in the field and even had some fearful night mares about them. The first one was
found often with a French hat on his bald head, a radio in
his shoulder, a walking stick, a bulgy stomach, hefty
body…at times which drew away the fallen paddy on his
walking path. He smiled less but looked grumpy and serious.
Voice was coming out from his finger tips and did not sound
from his stomach or throat. Hefty and well built was he; Oh
I shall not forget him as I remember him now. But who is he?
Can you tell me? He was found 7 days a week between 9 am to
5 pm found in Hosala bail. The second is the one
whom I saw was other side of the river sitting under the
coconut tree and was eating tender coconut. He was found in
a pitiful situation but was confident as he was the man of
his younger days with authority and power, of course with
money and muscles. He was hard working and rather demanding
too. He was last seen by me when I was in seventh standard
and he died in the same year. He was found around in Srimati
Kadti’s residence.
He was seen next to Mr. Harry D’Souza’s residence. On
the other side of the river. Who is he? Can you guess.
Seeing him I said, never to become rich! The third one I found
was with minimum
cloothes around his waist.
All the time he loved the field work more than his
food and drink. I admired him as a hard worker with little
flesh on his pale bones. He was found dead in the field. I
think I was in the fifth or sixth standard. He was carried
on a chair from the field to the house. Who is he? I salute
him as he was welknown for his sincerity and simplicity. The fourth: wise in
his way. He had a man to ‘man’ him as he would go to
town with a cup of coffee and return with a peg in his
friends family. He was heavy built
but smiling often with a wit in a village style. He calls
‘Dhooma’ from one side of the river to the other, and
who comes in the Canoe that would take him to the other end.
He did not teach mathematics without using the word ‘mangarandiyelo’.
He was Number one among the maths teachers ever exizted in
Barkur. He taught me too. Who is he? Your all four answers will be awarded with a memorable remark. Do send your entries to henrycds@rediffmail.com 02/10/02 Hello, Harry
D’Souza, how are you?
Nice of you
all doing the great job for Barkur. Thanks, Jasmine, Canada 01/10/02. Most of our magazines
/ periodicals, web-site portals, always, quick to write very
high about departed artists, social workers, religious
leaders, as well other achievers, I am not against that, in
a way it is our moral and social obligation. But, for the last,
almost a year, a better change, I have observed in this site
is – “ you recognize and honor living legends of
your society and town - in personality of
the month, even in Archie’s Corner, news items of
achiever’s - to mention a few”. Most of your write-ups
and letters are honest and spontaneous and surely encourages
people in public life, education, socio-religious field,
even students aspiring higher education, to feel proud,
- to see someone or this platform like your Web-site,
notice their worth, and in a big way it gives a boost, to
contribute, perform, still better. I
consider this itself is a worthy social work, because in
these days, most of us, too stinger to appreciate, something
better, in other or simply give the excuse of no time!! Another plus point of
this site is, the Host and may be his key team-mates, always
accept suggestions with a open arm and certainly a rare
blend of different flavors enriched the beauty of whole
site! Lastly, - I also
observed there are little or no inputs coming from Mumbai
region, as I heard high of your Association and its members,
very often! Let me hope the Host concentrate at this angle
please…? Regards, |
