Fellow Barkurians, Trust you too, feel proud to hear about our native through Kishoo's mirror. An addition to Naveen Sequeira's observation, let me invite fellow Brahmmavar-gars, to the clarion call of Archie, in his latest spark, as his trademark, in his page, to work in close association, in coming days to develop these areas. You and Kishoo as well, now hold great Keys of TWO POPULAR WEB-SITES, now mobilise, motivate and encourage other like minded friends, to address the vision seen by Barkur.com for TWIN CITIES at least towns for the moment. Let me share one of my friend’s observations, who hail from Sastan, our elders already considered BARKUR-BRAHMMAVARA AS ONE and they picked Bar from the former and mar from the latter, and popularly addressed the place as BAR-MAR. All the best, Barkurgar – 8/03/2003. This has reference to your latest update, in Archie’s corner - what a novel idea, and the so called cultural awakening and keen to un-earth forgotten history of Barkur, we feel joint development of this place surely usher to be a new visitor’s destination, also a place to find a permanent dwelling and now with better hotels / lodges to start with, Mr. B.D.Shetty and likeminded people should plan far reaching projects for the development with employment opportunities for youth to arrest their migration. Your site has a big role to play, and well started is half done dear host, and thanks for this informative, thought evoking article dear Archie. Keep the good work going on and God Bless you all. With best wishes, M.M.Alvares, alvaresmm@hotmail.com. 8/03/2003 Condolences

Anirudh, Marina and Kishoo, Barkur 08/03/2003 About Archie's last column: Dear barkur.com readers, Once again Archie came out in a very sound and good article with his usual great ability to recognise good talents with his powerful knowledge. About this article I want to add my sincere comments. Archie is absolutely right in recognising 3 good talents from Barkur, Harry D'Souza, Kishoo and Divya Furtado. I know Harry and Kishoo from my childhood. I dreamt of becoming a dynamic youth leader like Harry during those days of my childhood.Frankly speaking he is one of my local hero in my early childhood. Still now I am hearing his selfless service to the society. From my heart as a true admirer of Harry, I will congratulate him for his wonderful services he is rendering to Barkur church. I can't sideline the sacrifice and good work by his sweet family especillay his wife Shaila. Next Kishoo, my recent great close friend or simply I would like to put it in this way by remembering Raymond's slogan "The complete Gentleman..." . Kishoo is one of the best person whom I have ever known for his best qualities. He is the most talented person of Barkur. It's my great pleasure to have such a good and wonderful friend. He is a true friend who will always give place to his friends in his heart rather than in mind. That is his speciality. I admire his talent and good communication skills. Divya, I am yet to meet her, but I can surely say that she is one of the emerging star of Barkur Parish.
This message of mine is not complete without mentioning about
Archie. Although I didn't meet him many times, still I have to admire
his dynamic leadership and special qualities I heard thro' many other
youth leaders like Mr. Ivan Rebello and others. Now he is doing
wonderful work for barkur.com with his quality based articles. - Naveen Sequeira. (Please visit my website http://www.maaibhaas.com)
