A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday near Koteshwara First Grade College, at a place called Katkeri on the Koteshwara-Haladi road. A student, who was walking on the footpath with friends after finishing college, was struck from behind by a tipper truck and died on the spot.
The student who lost his life in the accident has been identified as Dhanush, a first-year BSc student at the Government First Grade College (Kalavara Varadaraja Shetty College) in Koteshwara.
