Sister Zita D'Almeida, A.C.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sister Zita D'Almeida, A.C., aged 81 years, at St. Agnes Convent, Bendur-Mangalore, after a brief illness due to age-related ailments.
Sister Zita was the beloved daughter of the late Brigit D'Almeida and the late Agustin (Gustin) D'Almeida.
She is survived by her loving siblings: Late Felix, Late Gregory, Late Richard, Late Victor, Late Lancy, Late Jesinta, Late Juliana, Veronica, Antony, and Sister Sabita.
Sister Zita was a devoted member of the Apostolic Carmelite Congregation, having dedicated her life to religious service.
The family has announced that the final rites and Mass will be held on Wednesday, 18/06/2025 at 3 PM at the Chapel of St.Agnes Convent, Mangalore.
For those wishing to attend the funeral, the family has arranged for transportation from the Barkur church starting at 1 PM on Wednesday. Anyone who wishes to join is requested to contact Mrs. Sarita Desmond Lewis by this evening.
