Noticing the plight of normal people due to the nationwide Lock down, Barkur Milk Producer's Association came forward to help its own Milk Providers. 106 kits containing groceries and other essential supplies of daily needs were distributed to the Milk providers. In a simple function, Sub Inspector of Brahmavar Police Station Y.Raghavendra, Director of Udupi Taluk Milk Federation Jagadish Karanth, Development Officer Saraswathi, Internal Auditor of the association B.Sudhakar Rao, President of Barkur Milk Producer's Association Ganesh Poojari Mooduhithlu, Office Bearers of the association, and staff members were present.
Speaking on the occasion Sub Inspector of Brahmavar Police Station Y.Raghavendra stressed on maintaining social distancing and requested all the members to avoid coming out of their homes unnecessarily and to co operate with the Police Officials to maintain lock down restrictions.
Member of the association Ajath Shetty donated the kit provided to him to the more needy family than his on humanitarian grounds and was appreciated by all.
