Maryknoll High School, Barkur host, ‘Children Grama Sabah’ on 28th February, 2022.
Under the initiative and leadership of Village Panchayat Barkur, ‘Children Panchyat or Seminar was held to address young students basic issues evaluate their health and environmental conditions and directly access their requirements, at 11.00 am.
The programme was well attended by all young children as well as Heads of Institutions and representative teachers of respective Primary and Higher Primary Schools, under the jurisdiction of Kachhur and Hosala Villages.
Officers from the Village Panchayat Office, Barkur, elected local leaders / Members and Officers from Education Department etc shared their inputs and focussed on health, cleanliness and basic infra-structure facilities and precautions to be taken by all during this testing and challenging times.
