Christmas services started at ground the church of St.Peter at 8 pm with soothing carols and Christmas tableu.
The melodious singing of the choir lead by Eric Soans Barkur brough in the Christmas mood to the ground as the arrangement for the mass was done outside the church. Royan Quadros and Jenniefr Quadros couple as Jospeh and Mary, Staney Pais, Rufas Dais and Arther Furtado as the 3 kings accompanied by YCS lads as the Shephards and Altar Girls as angels accompanied the carols.
The high mass was cconcelebrated by Rev.Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Rev.Fr. Anil Almeida and Deacon Francis Fernandes . The wonderful illumination of the church, beautiful arrangement of the mass outside the church were organised by entrepreneur Staney Pais and family who were the "Pirjenth" for the feast.
Rev.Fr.Valerian Mendonca was felicitated on the behalf of the parishioners for being the first Chancellor of the newly formed Udupi Diocese. Elderly couple of the parish Mrs and Mr William Furatdo did the honors along with Vice President of the parish council Eugine Quadros.

All the parishioners broke into frenzy of wishing and greeting each others after the mass. Cakes sponsored by Corporation Bank and Coffee sponsored by ICYM was served to all.
