Cooking Without Fire Competition by ICYM Barkur

ICYM Barkur Unit conducted Cooking Without Fire competition for the Parishioners for the occasion of Nativity of Mary Festival. A competition where, contestants need to prepare dishes without using Fire or any electronic equipment. A tricky competition where the parishioners were found competing with great enthusiasm.    

The competition was judged by Mr Denis Rodrigues of Rodrigues caterers Sasthan and Mrs Ivy Lobo of Joy Caterers Brahmavar. The winners of the Competition were,    

    1.    Eugine Quadros and Team.

    2.    Saritha Dias and Team.

    3.    Michelle Andrade and Team.

The competition ended with the valedictory function which was presided by the director of the unit Fr Valerian Mendonca. President Akshay Dias welcomed the gathering. Fr Valerian Mendonca delivered the presidential address. Judges of the event were presented with the mementoes. Winners were presented with the prizes. Secretary Raina Rodrigues delivered vote of thanks.
