Farewell to SSLC students at Maryknoll High School

Maryknoll High School, Barkur had mixed feelings today as the Students of SSLC were given an emotional send off, an event to be remembered for life time by the members of the outgoing batch, after sailing and learning together three academic years in this alma-mater – in the campus of proud MARYKNOLL.

At sharp 10.30 am Head Mistress Sr Jasmita led the meaningful prayer, to invoke Almighty Lords blessings through the patroness Mother Mary. The Chief Guest Rev Fr Lenson Lobo, from the Trinity Central School distributed the prizes to the winners of moral and value education classes and explained the importance of education to the outgoing teenagers and blessed them by handing over lighted lamps as a symbol of knowledge.

Mrs Sulochana read out the intercessory prayers while Mr Ramananda gave tips and guidelines for further studies in Colleges and Mrs Swarnalatha aptly compeered the whole programme. which was attended by students, parents and well-wishers of the High School.
