FREE VACCINATION DRIVE ARRANGED AT MARYKNOLL HIGH SCHOOL

Maryknoll High School has been chosen both by Public Health & Education Department to give a determined restart to CovId 19 Vaccination Drive today, i.e. Monday, 3rd January, 2022 in Barkur and its surroundings.

Panchayat Member, Mr Ganesh Poojary outlined the significance of this awareness program in this semi-urban locality to educate and convince the school going children. Dr Rohini, Medical Officer in the LF Hospital, Barkur, explained the merits of vaccinating ourselves on time, a shield of protection.

Headmistress of the High School, Sr. Jasmitha expressed her appreciation to the concerned for choosing this venue for a most important cause and need of the hour and insisted all students to make use of this facility at their school door step.

Earlier in the day’s programme, Mrs Swarnalatha, Hindi teacher cordially welcomed all the guests as well as medical staff while they were offered bouquet by Mrs Sulochana Science teacher. To conclude the short stage event, Mr Harry, the Physical Director proposed vote of thanks. The whole developments aptly conducted by Kannada teacher Mr Manohar.

Asha Health workers / activists - Mrs Bhanumathi and Mrs Baby meticulously cooperated in the vaccination service to all students. Health-care Volunteers Mrs Prema, representative of the School Management, Sr. Anis, staff coordinator of the event Mr Dolphy DSouza were present to oversee the well-organised health awareness programme in the Maryknoll Campus, which turned out to be successful one.
