Mangalamoorthi is being adored at Pattabhi Ramachandira Temple, Rukmini Shedthi Memorial National Primary School at Heradi by Athula Yuvaka Sangha and at Shettigar Industries, Ranganakeri.

Ganesha Chathurthi is celebrated in Barkur with all religeous fervour. Pattabhiramachandira, Batte Vinayaka and Hosakeri Ganesha Temple were seen with lot of devotees visiting all day long. At Pattabhi Ramachandira temple the decorations were kept bare minimum. After the facelift of the temple , they have created permanent pendall for the idol which eliminated the need for temporary arrangements, said Ashwin Kamath, the lead organiser of the main event in Bakur. While the devotion remains the same the organisers deliberatley taken steps to keep the expenditures down and even planned to carry the idol by hand carried Palki on the day of immersion on 23rd September, instead of the elaborately decorated vehicles and tableus and the money saved thus will be used for some contructive outcomes, he added.
