Grandparents' Day Celebration at Sri Vidyesh Vidyamanya National English Medium School, Heradi-Barkur

School Principal Mrs. Likita Kothari inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. In her address, she shared a touching perspective, stating, "Just as a village needs a forest, a home needs grandparents for children's happiness." She drew a beautiful analogy, comparing grandparents' love to bank interest, saying, "While bank deposits earn double interest, the love and affection grandparents shower on their grandchildren multiply manifold."
Senior teacher Mrs. Sujata L. Rai spoke about the celebration's significance, emphasizing that "Grandparents embody the joy of pure love." She highlighted the importance of quality time spent between grandchildren and their grandparents, noting how these moments shape children's emotional development.
