In a momentous event that showcased the potential and enthusiasm of the student body, the inauguration of the Student Cabinet and several held at S.V.V.N. English Medium School in Barkur on July 1, 2023.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs. Likitha Kotary, the Headmistress of the school, who delivered an inspiring speech, motivating the student leaders and club presidents. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the students gathered for this significant occasion.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with a heartfelt prayer led by the students, setting a tone of unity and reverence. Following the prayer, the official oath-taking ceremony took place, during which the elected council members pledged their commitment to their roles and responsibilities. Mrs. Likitha Kotary presented certificates to the council members, recognizing their appointment to their respective positions.
The newly elected members of the Student Cabinet were announced, with Mr. Karthik serving as the President, Mr. Pratheek as the Vice President, Miss Varsha as the Health and Hygiene Secretary, Mr. Chintan as the Cultural Secretary, and Miss Sharanya as the Sports Secretary. Additionally, Miss Jancitha was appointed as the Speaker, and Miss Amratha assumed the role of Opposition Party Leader.
Mr. Karthik, on behalf of his fellow office bearers, shared his views and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the student body. The senior teacher, Mrs. Sujatha L. Rai, delivered an inspiring speech during the event, emphasizing the significance of hard work and punctuality in a student's life, encouraging the newly elected leaders to lead by example.
The proceedings began with a warm welcome by Miss Anvitha, setting a positive and inclusive tone for the ceremony. To conclude the event, Mr. Aprameya Bhat proposed a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all those involved in organizing the inauguration. The program was skillfully hosted by Miss Himani, under the guidance of the in-charge teachers, Mrs. Jyothi Shetty and Mrs. Nagarathna Hebbar, who ensured the smooth execution of the event.
