Ace Sports woman Karishma Sanil made Udupi District proud by winning the Gold Medal, in Javelin Throw under23 Athletic Championship at the National level Sports held today, 29th September, 2021, in New Delhi.
Proud granddaughter of legendary teacher Chooda Poojary in Maryknoll School, Hosala Barkur, is the proud daughter of Indira and Sudarshan Sanil.
Previously she was trained under the well known Coach Late Satya Narayana Nayak, who expired one year ago. Now she had the privilege to be trained by Kashinath Nayak – who is Coach for great Olympic Gold Medallist – Neeraj Chopra.
Back home she was practicing in SMS College grounds and a favourite athlete of Physical Director Venkatesh Bhat who always encouraged her.
A proud old student who has done her studies till PUC in Govt Composite PU College, Brahmmavara and now doing her B.Sc. LVD College in Raichur.
Team Barkur-online, congratulate Karishma on this glorious moment of spectacular performance as she holds the records of both track and field in District and State level.
