Mahatobhara Kotekeri Sri Panchalingeshwara Temple, Barkur, Ashtamangala Prashna Chintana Concludes Successfully; Temple Restoration to Begin Soon

In the divine presence of Sri Panchalingeshwara, the four-day Ashtamangala Prashna Chintana program, held from January 31, 2025, to February 3, 2025, concluded successfully on 03.02.2025. The program, led by renowned astrologer Padmanabha Sharma, was organized as a precursor to the much-anticipated restoration of the historic temple. Based on the insights and recommendations derived from the Ashtamangala Prashna Chintana, the necessary expiatory rituals (Prayaschitta Karmanga) will be conducted in the coming days, paving the way for the commencement of the temple's restoration work.

The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, devotees, and members of the temple management committee. Among the notable attendees were Sri Vithal S. Hegde from Belagavi, Sri Suggi Sudhakar Shetty, and Sri B. Shanthaam Shetty, the chairman of the Panchalingeshwara Temple Management Committee. Also present were administrative officers Sri Manjunath Rao and Sri Vithal S., along with Smt. Suchitra S. Shetty, Sri Srinivas Shettigar from Rangankere, Ramachandra Kamath, Smt. Savita Ermal, Sri Kumaraswamy, Sri Akash Raj Jain, Sri Madhusudhan Kachuru, Sri Nemiraj Shetty, Sri Kusa L. Kundar Hoskere, Smt. Bharathi R. Kamath, Sri Devdas Hoskere, Sri Atmaj Shetty, Sri Uday Kumar Shetty, Sri Ganesh Balegar, Sri Sadashiva Pujari from Moodahitlu, Sri Shankar Prabhu, Sri Krishnamurthy Rao, Sri Manjunath Pujari, Sri Sridhar Acharya, Smt. Uma Hosala, and Srinivas Shetty and Vikhyath Shetty from Rajadhani Raja Youth Club. Additionally, Krishna, Sampath Pujari, Manoj, Sanketh Shetty, Anup Hegde, Ashwath Pujari, Shrajan Pujari, Raghavendra Kachuru, Jayashree Arun from Rangankere Devasthana, members of the temple management committee, Rajadhani Raja Youth Club members, priests, and devotees were present.

The Ashtamangala Prashna Chintana is a sacred astrological consultation process aimed at seeking divine guidance for the successful execution of significant endeavors, such as temple restoration. The program was conducted with great devotion and meticulous adherence to traditional rituals.
