Ganesh Shetty, a prominent figure in the field of Ayurveda and active member of various social organizations, has been elected as the new president of the Barkur Rotary Club for the term 2024-25. Hailing from Bennekudru, Ganesh Shetty is widely recognized for his contributions to the field of Ayurveda, serving as the Head of the Sadguru Ayurveda in the Coastal Division and the owner of Swadeshi Ayurveda in Barkur. He is also one of the Admins of Nammuru Barkur, Facebook group.
Ajith Kumar Shetty, the owner of Indian Petroleum Bunk and a significant presence in the community, has been chosen as the Secretary for the upcoming term.
The current president, Sitararam S., and the Secretary , K. Babu Nayak, have been acknowledged for their exemplary leadership in steering the Barkur Rotary Club during their tenure.
