Badanagoli, Barkur — The 12th Annual Day of Sevasangama Sri Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira, Badanagoli, Barkur, was held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Sabhaabhavana (assembly hall) of Sri Pattabhiramachandra Temple, Barkur.
Sri Suresh Pai, President of Sri Pattabhiramachandra Temple, Barkur, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Sri B. Srinivas Shettigar of Ranganakeri, Barkur — Life Honorary President of Sevasangama Sri Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira — presided over the function.
Sri Suggi Sudhakar Shetty, President of the Renovation Committee of Sri Panchalingeshwara Temple, Barkur, had been scheduled to attend the event. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, he along with Sri Srinivasa Shetty, Secretary of the Panchalingeshwara Temple Renovation Committee, visited the Shishu Mandira on Friday, March 27, 2026, spent time with the little ones, and extended their best wishes for the annual celebrations. Both dignitaries were felicitated and honoured by the Shishu Mandira.
Vedamurthy Sri Prabhakar Bayari of Hosala, Barkur, offered his blessings at the event. Sri Subramanya Holla, Managing Trustee of Sevasangama Trust (Regd.), Kundapur, was present as the keynote speaker.
The chief guests included Sri Suresh Pai (President, Sri Pattabhiramachandra Temple, Barkur), Sri K. Madhusudhan Kachur, Sri B. Sudhakar Rao (Honorary Advisor, Shishu Mandira), Smt. Yashoda Suvarna (Honorary President, Shishu Mandira), Sri Krishna G. Pujari (President, Shishu Mandira), Sri Subramanya N. Pujari (Director, Shishu Mandira), Smt. Jahnavi A. Pujari (Supervisor), Sri Manjunatha Pujari Hosala (Secretary), and Sri Ganesh Acharya (Treasurer).
Also present were Smt. Pavana Shrisha Bhat (Parent Representative), Smt. Poornima S. Pujari (Shishu Mandira In-charge), Smt. Gauri (Mataji), and Smt. Tulasi (Assistant Mataji), along with all office bearers and members of the managing committee, parents, children of the Shishu Mandira, senior students, and members of the Bala Gokula team. Members of the Barkur Shaurya group also assisted in organising the event.
On this occasion, senior alumni of the Shishu Mandira — Ayush Kumar and Kushi Raghavendra Mogaveera — were honoured and recognised for their achievements.
The event concluded with a vibrant cultural programme presented by the young children of the Shishu Mandira, students of Bala Gokula, and the Matajis.
