Barkur, Udupi District — The National Industrial Training Institute (NITI), Barkur, hosted a successful Apprenticeship Campus Drive today, organized by Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited, one of India's foremost automobile manufacturers.
The drive drew participation from 237 students representing nine institutions across Udupi district. Of these, 171 candidates cleared the interview process — a selection rate of over 72% — reflecting both the high calibre of students and the institute's strong industry connect.



The occasion was graced by the institution's Correspondent, Mr. B. Ramachandra Kamath, whose presence lent added significance to the event. The institute's management expressed gratitude to Mr. Kamath, along with the President, Secretary, and all members of the Barkur Educational Society Managing Committee, for their continued encouragement and steadfast support.
"The demand for technically qualified youth is steadily increasing year after year, with many new organizations approaching the institute in search of skilled manpower," said Principal Prof. Venkatesh Kramadhari, who spearheaded the initiative.
