In the gentle silence of remembrance and with hearts filled with gratitude, we gather to pay our humble homage to a remarkable human being — Late Shri Sudhakar Shetty Muskibail (Born: 15-04-1944 | Passed away: 18.05. 2026), an accomplished businessman, a generous donor, and above all, a man of rare vision and compassion.


Born with a spirit of enterprise and guided by values of integrity and humility, Shri Sudhakar Shetty rose to great heights as the Founder of Vasudha Chemicals, Mumbai. Yet, his success was never confined to personal achievement. He believed deeply in giving back to society, and his life stands as a shining testimony to selfless service.
His enduring contribution to the all-round development of Rukmani Shedthi National Higher Primary School, Heradi, Barkur will forever remain etched in the hearts of generations. His visionary role in establishing the Rukmini Shedthi Memorial National First Grade College and Research Centre, Barkur opened doors of higher education to countless rural students, transforming lives and uplifting the community.


In his spiritual message Sri Sri Sri Dr Santhosh Kumar Swamiji of Barkur Maha Samsthana shared, 'today, Barkur does not merely remember a donor — it remembers a builder of futures, a nurturer of dreams, and a pillar of educational progress and noble soul, a kind heart concerned for fellow brotheren...'
On this solemn occasion, rich and heartfelt tributes were paid:
Mr. Jayaram Shetty, Retired General Manager of Vijaya Bank, spoke on behalf of the close-knit family, recalling his warmth, discipline, and unwavering commitment to relationships.
Prof. Raj Shekhar Hebbar, Retired Founder Principal, expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the college, highlighting his farsighted vision in nurturing higher education.
Mr. Karunakar Shetty Sankadi, representing Heradi Rukmani Shedthi National Higher Primary School and as Chairman of its Centenary Celebrations (1925–2025), remembered him as a guiding force behind the school’s growth and legacy.


Mr. B. Shantarama Shetty, President of Barkur Panchayat and Chairman of The Barkur Educational Society, acknowledged his invaluable contributions to educational and social development.
Mr. Suresh Shetty, Dharvad fondly recalled his significant contributions to education in Dharwad, especially his initiatives in promoting various educational schemes in loving memory of his late mother Smt. Rukmini Shedthi, reflecting his deep-rooted commitment to honoring family values through service.
Mr. Ashok Kumar Shetty, Retired Head Master, currently Secretary of BES, beautifully compered the Shraddhanjali, eloquently portraying the virtues of a seasoned professional and a compassionate philanthropist.
The 'Nudi Namana' programme, attended by hundreds of admirers, well-wishers, and beneficiaries, stood as a living testimony to the profound impact he had on countless lives over the decades.
As we bow our heads in respect, we remember a life well lived — a life that gave more than it took, a life that inspired more than it spoke.
In conclusion, his beloved brother proposed the vote of thanks, bringing the ceremony to a graceful close, even as memories lingered and hearts remained heavy yet grateful.
'Though he has departed from our sight, his legacy will continue to guide us like a lamp that never fades.'
