Udupi M.P. Shobha Karandlaje visited Barkur today and interacted with the laborers from Utthara Kannada stranded and temporarily accommodated at Smt. Rukmini Shedthi Memorial Government First Grade college from last few days of Lockdown. These laborers are provided by essential supplies and food with help of generous donors from Barkur lead by B.Shantharam Shetty , Rajyothsava Awardee Buisnessman from Barkur. MP Karandlaje joined with the activists in serving the food to the laborers. She interacted with them and assured them of their safety and will be provided with all the essentials till further arrangements. She requested them to maintain hygiene and social distancing to avoid any infections.
