In a heartwarming initiative, Rotary Club, Barkur along with the support of Kishoo Enterprises, franchise of Daiji World Media in Udupi, organized a special event at the Sheshappa Hegde Memorial Auditorium of NPUC. The main objective of this event was to provide free uniforms worth Rs 55,000 to all the students studying in the First year PUC and Eighth grades, ensuring that they have access to proper attire for their academic journey.
The event was a momentous occasion for the students and the educational community of Barkur. The college administration, under the guidance of the former Principal, Mr. B. Seetharam Shetty, played a pivotal role in coordinating and executing the uniform distribution process.
The event witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals, including Rotary Club President, Rotarian Seetharam S., who extended his wholehearted support to make the initiative a success. Mr. Ram Naik, a member of the College Management Committee, also present, further emphasizing the significance of community involvement and service.
