150th Gandhi Jayanthi at MHPS, Barkur
150 years of Gandhi Jayanthi celebrated at at Maryknoll Higher Primary School Barkur. Headmistress Sr Margaret welcomed all.
School correspondent, Rev Fr Philip Neri Aranha presided over the function and spoke on Mahathma Gandhiji's life and values. Rosy teacher conducted the prayer service.
Recently students of MHPS, Vishal, Vighnesh, Pragathi and Raksha participated in Brahamavar Taluk Level Sports meet. Vishal bagged the second place in Shot put and third place in Disc throwing while Pragathi won second place in High Jump and 3rd place in Long Jump. Both of them are qualified for the District Level and were honoured by distributing the prizes at this occasion.
