73rd Independence day was celebrated in SVVN English Medium School, Herady, Barkur. Dr. B.M.Somayaji, the correspondent of the school was the Chief guest of the function. He hoisted the national flag and said that we have to stand unitedly when it comes in the matter of our nation, irrespective of all differences. Asst. H.M Mrs. Likitha Kotary, welcomed the gathering. Ms. Vandya R Bhat compered the program. Ms. Chirashree proposed vote of thanks. Prizes were given to the winners of elocution which was held on account of Independence day. Students from first std to tenth were present along with SPL Mr. Adithya Nambiar.
