In a commendable recognition of service, Mr. Ashok Kumar S G, a member of Fire Fighting Station in Udupi, was conferred with the prestigious gold medal by the Chief Secretary of Karnataka, Mr. J. Parameshwar. Mr. Ashok, who hails from Barkur Gopala Devadiga and Akku Sherigar family completed his education at Barkur NJC and entered public service on November 5, 2005.
He joined the Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services Department and started his duty as a firefighter in Udupi Fire Fighters Station. Over the years, Mr. Ashok actively participated in numerous firefighting and rescue operations, contributing significantly to public property and life-saving efforts. His selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to the department's mission earned him the gold medal in 2022 from the honorable Chief Minister.
