Over the decades, The Expressions has staged memorable events such as "Expressions 2000," "Sambhram," "Expressions 2005," "Karaval Milan Wilfy Nite," "The Expressions Wilson Olivera Silver Jubilee Nite," "Tuvvi Tuvvi," "Moagachi Aproop Ghadi," "Expressions 2009," and "Expressions 2015" — many in Barkur, Brahmavar, and even Mumbai. These extravaganzas along with online spectacles like "Expressions Online" "Kantar Fiesta 2026" etc have earned overwhelming audience support and widespread acclaim for their commitment to meaningful, high-quality entertainment.
The group has also championed thought-provoking theatre, collaborating with Team Astitva Mangaluru to present impactful dramas like Salgi and Kendonians, which have sparked discussions on social issues while showcasing local talent.
Continuing this legacy, The Expressions now brings the critically acclaimed Konkani play Chiri, written by Rev. Dr. Fr. Alwyn Serrao, featuring the talented artists from Astitva Mangaluru, lead by Christopher Ninasam. This profound drama explores themes of justice, equality, resistance, compassion, and faith through a compelling dialogue between a senior and junior priest, drawing parallels to Jesus' transformative stand against rigid systems. Early reviews praise it as an engaging critique of tradition-bound structures, provoking introspection on gender sensitivity, constitutional values, and avoiding compromise for harmony.
