About Shri Barkur Shekar Shetty
Age - 76 years old
Demise on the 8th of June 2015.
He is son of Late .Brahmavara Galimane Subanna Shetty. The barkur Brothers as they are popularly known ( comprising of Barkur Anand Shetty , Barkur Dharma Raj Shetty, Barkur Sudhakra Shetty, Barkur Suresh Shetty ( Canara tours and travels ) have always been in the forefront of helping the community and have been known to help the community members in every way they could . This family typically signifies the importance of giving back to the society in return for what they got from the society.
He came to Mumbai and with His brother late renonwed advocate of Mumbai High Court Mr.Barkur Anand Shetty. He started working In parle and then gradually started working in Bhabha Atomic Research center as a Scientific office in the Electronic Division.
He is survived by his wifes Girija Shetty, Eldest Son - Dr Srikanth Shetty who is runniing a clinic in Wadala , antop hill, 2nd Son Srinath Shetty , Who works for Reliance Communication - Business Head Karnataka, and Daughter Srilatha Shetty who is based in Bangalore. All the children and grand children with their fathers blessings are well settled.
