80 families from Masthi Nagara and 12 families of Ranganakere Navagrama Colony from Hanehalli were identified and distributed Kits of groceries, essential supplies and Facemasks by Karnataka Rajyothsava Awardee B.Shantharam Shetty. Speaking at the distribution program held at Shrinivasa Hall at Sankamma Thayi Resort, Shantharam Shetty said the many generous donors and associations of Barkur and elsewhere have distributed supplies kits to many needy families and this distribution was aimed at identifying some more families who haven't received any kits and helping them. He also requested the people to avoid unnecessary movements and follow instructions from Government Officials to check the spread of Corona Virus Infection and propagation.
Rathnakar Shetty appreciated the gesture of B.Shantharam Shetty and praised his unique initiatives to help Rikshaw and Car Drivers and his observations of identifying the people who did not get any help so far. The needy families who havent recieved any kits were excited to and happy to get them.
B. Shantharam Shetty, B. Sundar Shetty, Hanehalli Panchayath President Chandravathi Acharya, Rathnakar Shetty, Devdas Hoskere, Koosa Kundar Hoskere, Ramachandra Kamath, Barkur, Devaki, Media Representative Shivaram Acharya Bandimat were present at the distribution program.
