Venu Gopala Krishna Yuva Sangha, Moodukeri, Barkur, in collaboration with various organizations such as Sri Somu Kshatriya Ganiige Samaja Moodukeri Barkur, Sri Annapoorneshwari Mahila Sangha Moodukeri Barkur, Sri Venu Gopala Krishna Vividhoddesha Sahakara Sangha, Sri Venu Gopala Krishna Education Trust, Udyavar Valaya, Udupi Valaya, Tenkanidiyooru Valaya, Kota Valaya, Brahmavara Valaya, and Barkur Valaya, organized a sports event in slushy paddy fields aptly named 'Kesaru Gaddeyalli Ondu Dina'.
The program was held near Sri Venu Gopala Krishna Devasthana, and it witnessed the participation of D. Rathi Shetty Barkur's son, Smt. Sujata Shetty, in the games held in their field.
Sri Suryanarayana Ganiige Matapadi, the President of Barkur Moodukeri Somakshatriya Ganiige, inaugurated the event.
Sri Balakrishna Uppoor, the President of Barkur Moodukeri Venu Gopala Krishna Yuva Sangha, presided over the program.
Among the dignitaries present were R. Sri Subramanya Poojari, the Director of Barkur Rotary Community, R. Sri B. Sudhakar Rao, the President of Anns Club, Smt. Purnima S., Smt. Jhanavi, Sri Rajesh Shaan Bhag, the coordinator of Namma Kannada YouTube channel, and Sri Suresh M. (Subhanu Barkur).
Smt. Sujata Shetty, who provided the field for the Kesargadde Auto Race Competition, was felicitated and honored for her contribution.
Subbanna Ganiige Karkada, Sri Umanath Ganiige Barkur, Sri Narayana Ganiige Karkada Patre, Smt. Uma Korga Ganiige Betlakki Chitrapadi, and Sri Anand Ganiige Naidadi (Nati Vaidyaru) were also congratulated and honored for their progressive agricultural practices.
Various competitions were held in Kesargadde, including traditional Karavali dance and Huli Nritya (Tiger Dance), in which women, men, and children from all regions actively participated and celebrated.
The team representing Kota Valaya emerged as the overall champions, winning the Nagamma Trophy.
Yogish Kolagiri proposed a vote of thanks for the program.
