“Notice Boards” advocating cleanliness inaugurated at Moodahadu Kudru.

It may be recalled here that “Moodahadu Kudru Residents’ association” had organized “Cleanliness drive” on May 10th and 11th to clean up the trash thrown by commuters passing by. Continuing their endeavor for cleanliness and to sustain a clean road, association has now erected notice boards all along the stretch of “Barkur-Sastan Road”.

In a small event held recently at Moodahadu Kudru, villagers got together and installed the notice boards. These notice boards were donated by Mrs. Priya Rodrigues and Mrs. Violet Lewis, who also inaugurated the same. Event was presided over by the President Shankara Bangera. Office bearers Fredrick D’Souza, Leera Furtado, Richard D’Souza, Praveen Dsouza, Krishna Poojary, Stephan Lewis were present.

  • I am appreciates Moodahadu villagers concerned to maintain their tiny village environmentally clean . Their  place connected by two bridges and now vulnerable to traffic from outsiders and loitering in the street by others resulted in piling  of garbage and liquor bottles . Concerned citizens took a initiative to safeguard the environment  place which we all need to our support them . People who visiting  this area must keep clean as it is environmentally eco sensitive connecting to both side rivers .
