Rotary Club Barkur, Zone-3 District 3182, organized Paddy Planting competition for 15 women's teams today at the premises of Ramakrishna Adiga's farm.
The event was presided over by the President of Rotary Club, Mr. Sitaram S. The chief guests for the occasion were the District Representative, Mr. Rajaram Aital, the President of Yadtadi Gram Panchayat, Mrs. Savita Devadiga, and the progressive farmer, Mr. Srinivas Udupa Kudli. Also present were Mr. Anand Shetty (Assistant Governor), Mr. Subramanya S. (Director of Community Service), Mr. K. Babu Nayak (Secretary), Mr. B. Sudhakar Rao, Mr. Sudarshan Udupa Kudli, Mrs. Purnima S. (President of Inner Wheel Club), Mrs. Jhanavi Mathi, and Mrs. Gauri Poojari, along with other office bearers and members of the Rotary Club.
On this occasion, Mr. Srinivas Udupa Kudli, the progressive farmer, and his wife were felicitated and honored for providing the field to organize and conduct the competition.
The winners of the competition were awarded prizes for their outstanding performance.
