A brilliant student in both academics and extra curricular activities, Shishir was school topper at Shri Vidyehshya Vidyamanya National English Medium School, Heradi, Barkur where he is studying, with inpressives scores like 124 in Kannada, 99 in English, 97 in Hindi, 100 in Mathematics, 98 in Science and 99 in social studies. After the revaluation he scored 2 more marks in Science and 1 in Social studies increasing his overall scores to 617 making him the second topper in the Udupi District.
