Heradi-Barkur, 10th February, 2024: Shree Vidhyesha Vidyamanya National English Medium School in Heradi-Barkur recently held a Teacher-Guardian Meeting, a vital platform for fostering communication and collaboration between educators and parents. The event, which took place on Saturday, 10th February, 2024, at 2:30 pm, saw the participation of esteemed guests and stakeholders from the educational community.

The meeting commenced with an insightful address by Mr. B Seetarama Shetty, Retired Principal of NJC, who emphasized the importance of providing children with quality education and nurturing them as valuable assets. Mr. Shetty's words resonated with the audience, highlighting the crucial role of education in shaping the future of young minds.

Presiding over the meeting was Mr. H. Vitthal Shetty Shedikodlu, Vice President of Baraku Educational Society (Re) Barkuru (BES). He underscored the significance of maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship among teachers, students, and parents, emphasizing the need to extract the best from each individual to pave the way for a rewarding and responsible career.

Echoing similar sentiments, Mr. Ashok Kumar Shetty, Secretary of Barkur Educational Society (Re) Barkur, stressed the importance of granting students the freedom to choose their educational path and involving them in discussions regarding their academic journey. This approach, he emphasized, fosters a sense of ownership and empowerment among students.

Mr. Archibald Furtado, Administrative Coordinator of National Group of Educational Institutions Barkur, emphasized the role of parents and teachers as architects of children's future. He urged the audience to identify and nurture the unique talents and strengths of each child, emphasizing the pivotal role of schools in recognizing and encouraging these abilities.

Providing insights into the upcoming milestones of the school, Mr. Rajaram Shetty, the Correspondent of SVVN School, highlighted the forthcoming 20th anniversary of S. V. V. N. School and the various educational facilities available, along with future additions aimed at commemorating this landmark event.

The event also witnessed active participation from Mr. Raja Gopal Nambiar, President of the School's Parents Teachers' Association, who emphasized the importance of recognizing and encouraging the achievements of both students and teachers within the school community.

Principal of the school, Mrs. Likhita Kothari, delivered an introductory speech outlining the triumphs and challenges of the past academic year, emphasizing the crucial role of parental support in the school's progress. She reiterated the need for continued involvement and cooperation from parents in the future.

The event was meticulously organized, with Teacher Mrs. Sujatha L. Rai and Mr. Suresh Shetty, Physical Education Teacher, extending a warm welcome to the guests and parents. A devotional prayer hymn was sung by Teacher Mrs. Aparna Bhat to invoke the blessings of the Almighty, while Mr. Purnesh, a teacher, concluded the event with a vote of thanks.

Mr. Nagendra Achar skillfully facilitated the interactive session, which saw active participation from parents, management, and teaching faculty. Class X parents were particularly engaged in exchanging roles and responsibilities, further strengthening the bond between home and school.
