Barkur - In a proactive move towards fostering a healthier community, the Sauharda unit of St. Peter Church in Barkur recently organized a Health Promotion event specifically tailored for ladies aged between 30 and 50 years. The event took place in the Church Main Hall at 4:30 PM and was warmly welcomed by  Mrs. Laveena Olivera.

This informative program was hosted by  Parish priest, Rev. Fr. Ronald Miranda. It served as a platform for discussing essential topics related to health and wellness. Among the key themes explored were:

Daily Food Habits : Participants engaged in discussions on the significance of their daily dietary choices.

Food and Health: The program delved into the direct relationship between the food we consume and our overall well-being.

Benefits of Exercise: Highlighting the importance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Improving Children's Food Habits: Valuable insights were shared on how to encourage healthy eating habits in children.

Feeding Children with Nutrient Food : Practical tips were provided to ensure children receive the nutrition they need.
