Accident-Free Driver Award Recipient Alexander Colaco Passes Away

Barkur: Alexander Alexander Colaco, a resident of Moodahadu Kudru in Barkur Pandeshwar, who had settled in Udyavara, passed away at the age of 75. He was a recipient of the "Accident-Free Driver Award" for his dedicated service as a driver for over 40 years, primarily with the Ambareesh Bus, traversing the roads with utmost care.


Mr. Alexander Colaco, known for his amiable nature, often brought smiles to people's faces with his witty remarks. After retiring from his position as a city bus driver a few years ago, he continued serving as a rickshaw driver, notably at the Guddengadi Bus Stand rickshaw depot.

Born and raised in Pandeshwar Moodahadu Kudru, Alexander Alexander Colaco had been residing in Udyavara for the past 25 years. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, two daughters, and a large circle of relatives and friends who cherished his company.

The final rites of the deceased will take place on 05/02/2024 morning at 10:00 AM at the Udyavara Church. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
