Indian Dental Association, Udupi District Branch received 6 awards and recognition at National level during 73rd Indian Dental Conference at Trivandrum. For the works done in the year 2019, IDA Udupi was recognized at national level. Best All Round Activity, Best Rural Activity, Best Secretary, Best Journal, WDC award at World Dental Show and appreciation for best President.
104 CDH activities including a street play and walkathon with oral cancer eradication campaign, 12 CDE Programs for upgrading the knowledge in dentistry were carried out.
President Dr Manoj DLima Barkur, Secretary Dr Faiz, Udupi, Treasurer Dr Sudhir Malpe, CDE Convenor Dr Manjunath,District Hospital Udupi, Dr Beesu Naik, Nodal Officer, Udupi District, Past President Dr Vijayendra Rao, Udupi, Dr Jagdeesh, Koteshwar and Dr Analini Shetty, Kota were present at the national conference at Kovalam, Trivandrum.
IDA Udupi District Branch received 7 karnataka state awards during the state conference at Mandya. Total 13 awards received which is a record till date for IDA Udupi District.
IDA comprises 29 State Branches, 7 Union Territories, more than 450 Local branches and 1 Defence branch.
