Maryknoll Higher Primary School organised ‘Parent Teachers Meeting’ on Friday, 4th August, 2023.

It was really a festive look at the Maryknoll Campus today as almost all parents and guardians of 72 children gathered to discuss about the academic progress of their children. Rev Fr Ronald Miranda the newly appointed Correspondent and Manager, himself a concerned educationist, presided over the meeting. 

In the beginning, Head teacher Mrs Vandana DSa extended a warm welcome to all gathered and appraised the various activities taking place in the School.   She specially extended heartfelt gratitude’s to parents, teachers and management for their support and cooperation. A special mention was made to thank ‘St Peters Association Barkur – Mumbai’ who has been a continuous source of both inspiration and monetary support by way of providing uniforms, stationary, Books etc over the years as well as ‘SPA Bangalore’ contributing towards the salary of one teacher and many kind and generous old students helping this Institution which have a colourful success story of 83 long years…

In the followed election a 13 Member Executive Committee headed by Mr Rama Poojary as President and Mrs Meenakshi as Secretary was chosen to shoulder the responsibilities of PTA. While accepting the role Mr Rama Poojary spoken very highly about the ‘Maryknoll, the quality education provided over here, its campus and infra structure and Management and qualified and dedicated teaching staff and ensured parents contribution whatever way expected of them in coming days.

Correspondent Rev Fr Ronald Miranda shared his childhood school days and the role of primary class teachers who moulded us all what we are today. He appreciated the enthusiasm and goodwill of parents of little children and willingness to be partner in providing best education in this Kannada medium temple of learning.

The involvement of teaching staff visibly seen as the well organised programme meticulously presented by Teacher Mrs Saritha, previous years report was read out by Teacher Ms Sangeetha, whereas to conclude the proceedings, Teacher Shyamala proposed vote of thanks, while Teacher Reema helped to click the snaps and reports.

Refreshments were organised to all who attended the Get Together and parents expressed their satisfaction and wanted to have such meeting regularly.
