Shishir Seetharam Shetty, Nadumane, Barkur stepped in timely to help poor families from Barkur caught in a limbo due to country wide lock down due to Covid 19 pandemic.
Having high regards for Barkur, Shishir Shetty provided 60 kits of groceries and essential supplies to 60 select deserving families from Hanehalli and Barkur and these were distributed at the premises of Kachur Shri Nageshwara Temple.
Udupi Taluk Panchayath member Chandrashekar Shetty Nalkudru, Shsishir Shetty and his father Seetharam Shetty Nadumane, Hanehalli Panchayath President Chandravathi Acharya, Media Representative, Praveen Muddur, Hanehalli Panchayath members, Lakshmana Poojari, Jalaja, Sandip Amin Kooradi and Keerthi Prasad Kooradi of Team Aapathbandhava, were present during the distribution.
They thanked the Administrative Committee of Kachur Shri Nageshwara Temple for providing the space.
