It’s rightly a great moment to see one of its proud son in SUNIL VICTOR FURTADO, son of late Joseph & Josephine Furtado, Kachhur Barkur, featured in famed Konkani Weekly VEEZ in this week.
He is a well-known and familiar face among the Catholics in Sultanate of Oman, especially in St. Peter and Paul Church, Ruwi and Holy Spirit Church Ghala, during past one decade, with lot of social and yeomen services. He led the MCCP Muscat as well as GMCC Ghala, as its President.
A grand-son of Gaspar Furtado, the versatile and popular Gurkar of Pandeshwar - Nagermutt, of yester years, Sunil rightly inherited leadership qualities in his blood…..HE is a old student of Maryknoll Primary School, Hosala Barkur and one of the founder members of SPCYA Barkur - Mumbai in 1985. At present he serves and resides in Muscat with wife Sunitha and two sons….!
