Rotary Club Donates Water Purifier to Government Higher Primary School in Barkur

Today, the club donated an Eco Guard water purifier to ensure access to clean drinking water for the school's students.

Padmanabha Kanchan, who served as the chief guest in his capacity as Zonal Trainer for Rotary. Rotarian Seetaram S., the current president of the Rotary Club of Barkur, presided over the function.

The stage was shared by several notable figures, including Mr. Prakash B.B., Education Coordinator; Mr. Ramesh, Vice President of the School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC); K. Babu Naik, Secretary of the SDMC; Ganesh Shetty, the incoming president for the next Rotary year; Ajit Kumar Shetty, the incoming secretary; R. Ratnakar Shetty, the program coordinator; and Rotarian Raghavendra Poojari, among others.

The proceedings began with Rotarian B. Sudhakar Rao, a past president of the club, delivering the welcome address and introducing the program. He set the tone for the event by highlighting the importance of clean drinking water in educational institutions.

Mrs. Sharada Kumar, the headmistress of the school, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the donation of the Eco Guard water purifier.
