Veteran Physical Education Director of Milagres College Kallianpur who served here for more than three decades was recognised and honored by alumni association during a special function organized for this unique purpose in the college open ground.
Rev Fr Lawrence D'Souza presided over the function and Mr Jayaprakash Shetty of M/S Shambhu Enterprises Mumbai an alumni, was the Chief guest.
Earlier, there was a volleyball tournament commemorating and remembering the service of p.d.which kicked off at 7.00 am in the adjacent college play ground.
It's apt to note here that Mr Augustine Arun Dias was also the founder president of CYM Barkur...in 1976
