Barkur Billava Seva Sangha Organizes Free Notebook Distribution Drive at Shivagiri Kshetra, Barkur

BARKUR,  - In a heartwarming display of community service, the Barkur Billava Seva Sangha (Registered) and a group of generous donors came together to organize a free notebook distribution program at the Shivagiri Kshetra in Barkur on Saturday, June 16, 2024. The event was presided over by the esteemed President of the Seva Sangha, Shri Sarvottham Poojari Bennekudru.

The auspicious occasion was inaugurated by the chief guest, Shri Somappa A. Saneel, who lit the ceremonial lamp, setting the tone for the noble initiative. The event witnessed the attendance of several distinguished guests, including Shri Subrahmanya S. Poojari, President of the Vividhoddesh Sahakari Sangha, and a host of benevolent donors who made the program possible.

Among the esteemed donors present were Smt. Hemalatha Jayaram Poojari from Bandimatha, Shri Manjappa Poojari from Barkur, Smt. Veena S. Poojari from Bennekudru, Smt. Vatsala Poojari from Hosala, Smt. Jahnavi Poojari, President of Seva Sangam Shri Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira, and Smt. Jyothi Prabhakara Poojari, President of the Women's Wing.

The event also witnessed the presence of the Sangha's esteemed advisors, Shri Venkatesh Suvarna and Shri B.N. Jagannath Poojari, along with Vice President Shri Annappa Poojari Kavadi, Secretary Smt. Gouri V. Poojari, and other dignitaries.

Shri Ganesh Poojari, an  advisor of the Sangha, extended a warm welcome to the guests, while Shri Manu Poojari from Hosala, the Treasurer, expressed his gratitude. Shri Ramesh Poojari expertly anchored the event, with Shri Krishna Poojari from Bennekudru lending his support.

The occasion marked a significant step towards supporting the educational aspirations of underprivileged students in the region. Through the generosity of the donors and the tireless efforts of the Barkur Billava Seva Sangha, numerous students received free notebooks, alleviating the financial burden on their families and enabling them to pursue their studies with renewed vigor.

The Seva Sangha's commitment to promoting education and empowering the youth of Barkur was evident in the heartfelt speeches delivered by the dignitaries. They emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities to all students, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds, and applauded the donors for their selfless contributions.
