Barkur Railway Station marked the 78th Independence Day with a modest ceremony. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by Senior Station Master Mr. Srinivas Shetty, followed by a speech from the chief guest, Station Master Divya Naik.
The ceremony highlighted the significance of independence, paying tribute to the struggles and sacrifices made by soldiers in the fight for freedom. The occasion was attended by station staff and local citizens. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets to all present.
